Five years ago in Las Vegas and after many glasses of Chateau Lynch Bages my friend and business partner Larry Burgess saw the market for wine expanding in the most fascinating country in the world, China. Having traveled to China and falling in love with the people and culture we knew this was where we needed to be.

We both have over 25 years in the wine business me on the producing, sales, and marketing side. I was fortunate enough to work for E&J Gallo, Inniskillin Icewines, and owning my own importing company in the US. I also had the pleasure of receiving my Winemaking Certificate from UC Davis school of Enology. Larry is one of the top mixologist in Las Vegas and has worked in the restaurant business for over 16 years using his sommelier education at some of the top restaurants in Las Vegas. Many close personal friends who are Sommeliers and winemakers worked with us to perfect the wines we choose it was a collaborative effort.

Thanks Chris and John!

We searched for a year trying to find the best wines and Chinese partners to work with. In 2009 our adventure began. With just a wine bag filled with great wines and a new Chinese partner Miss. Sun I set my navigation compass like Marco Polo. The one focus was providing education and the best customer service in China. I love traveling throughout China and seeing our wines being enjoyed at restaurants as well as purchased at retail stores to be enjoyed at home with friends, and family.

Present day, we are in 10 Cities with 50 distributers and a multi-channel network that includes retail chains (BHG, Lucky Chain, April Gourmet, and Carrefour) and corporate gifting. We have to thank our first client Lucky Chain (Mr. Bruce and Miss. Libby) for helping and partnering with us on this incredible journey.

Chinese wine education increases everyday and we are proud to be part of this growing market. The journey has been fantastic and fruitful and we cannot wait to see where the road takes us.

Cheers,

Robert & Larry
